About Me
Hello! I’m Meg Francis (she/her), and I’m a consultant living in Toronto, Ontario.
In 2022, I set out on my freelance journey with a specific goal in mind: to work on meaningful projects with curious, motivated people, and to have fun doing it. Since then, I’ve been lucky to meet that goal many times over, working on incredible initiatives that have reached people across Canada.
With over 15 years’ experience in strategic communications, I excel at providing quick, insightful analysis that helps leaders make sense of their priorities and move their work forward.
Over a decade leading health- and equity-focused projects in lean non-profit environments has provided me with a strong grounding in strategy, operations, communications and marketing, which allows me to support clients with diverse projects across sectors. My versatile skillset allows me to bring a collaborative, customized approach to each project.
I hold a B.A. and M.A. from Western University, both focused on mass media and communications. I’m also a trained creative facilitator, skilled at designing and delivering engaging, thought-provoking sessions.
As a queer person striving to contribute to a more just world, diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility lenses figure prominently in my work. I’m also proud to be a certified supplier with the Canadian Queer Chamber of Commerce.
Whether you have a project in mind, or you need support identifying your strategic direction, I would be delighted to work together to find the next step.
